What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a patented mode of orthodontics that doesn't use metal or wires. Instead, it relies on clear tooth aligners that help your teeth move into the desired position. They can be used if you have gaps or spaces between your teeth and even if you have crowded teeth. The aligners are virtually invisible-no one will be able to tell you're wearing them. They can be removed whenever you eat, drink, brush or floss, (or even for special occasions) and they're more comfortable than traditional braces because there are no metal or wires to cause abrasions in your mouth.

How Are They Made?
Invisalign aligners are created from a set of 3-D images made from impressions of your teeth. A computerized simulation then shows you the movement of your teeth from the beginning of your treatment to your final desired position. Aligners are made for each stage of treatment. Your teeth impressions will be sent to the Invisalign lab and through advanced technology, your custom aligns will be made and shipped back to our office.
When Do I Wear the Aligners?
You should wear your invisalign at all times. You should only take out your aligners when you eat, drink, brush and floss. You can drink water while wearing your aligners, however, you should not drink any other beverage. Though it is not 
advisable to do frequently, you can take out your Invisalign aligners if you have a special event. Although, most patients would rather keep them in at all times as they are very comfortable.
How Long Do I Wear The Aligners?
You wear each aligner for two weeks, and teeth will move little by little, week by week, as the aligner is replaced. Total average treatment time ranges from as little as 6 months to sometimes as long as 15 months. If you only have minor crowding or crooked teeth, you may be a candidate for Invisalign Express where your treatment may be less than 6 months.
Will Invisalign Work for Me?
Invisalign can work with a broad range of dental and orthodontic issues. It can help if you have over crowded teeth; widely spaced teeth (gaps); cross bite; over bite and under bite.
